We are looking for a Senior Content Producer to lead the creation of a new long-form, social-first show for Dazed. Reporting to the Content Strategy Director, this role is a rare opportunity to originate and own a recurring series from the ground up: shaping the concept, defining the creative language, building the production workflow, and delivering standout episodes that grow our audience and strengthen the Dazed brand.
You will be responsible for taking a bold editorial idea and turning it into a repeatable, high-performing show with a clear point of view, consistent quality, and cultural resonance. Working closely with Editorial, Social and Commercial teams, you will ensure the series feels distinctly Dazed, is platform-native across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and emerging channels, and is designed to travel while remaining sponsor-friendly and creatively credible.
Alongside owning this new show end-to-end, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering Dazed’s wider social video output. This includes ideating original social video franchises, producing, shooting and editing long- and short-form content, and contributing to the evolution of Dazed’s video strategy across long-form episodes, Shorts and series-based formats.
This role is perfect for a producer who thrives on ideation, loves the craft of making, and is confident in balancing full ownership of a flagship format with hands-on collaboration across the wider video slate.
What you’ll do
Ideate, develop and execute innovative social video formats for long-form and episodic content.
Lead the production of social video content, including concept development, shooting, editing and optimisation for platform performance and audience growth.
Translate editorial features, print stories and cultural coverage into engaging video-first narratives while maintaining Dazed’s tone of voice and creative authority.
Produce high-quality social-first video content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and YouTube Shorts, ensuring each output is platform-native.
Work closely with the Dazed Social team to plan, produce and publish content across daily, weekly and long-term content calendars.
Collaborate across editorial, print and commercial teams to deliver integrated video content that supports broader Dazed projects, campaigns and partnerships.
Support commercial and branded projects by producing YouTube and social content that aligns with client objectives while protecting editorial integrity and audience trust.
Stay ahead of platform changes, creator trends and audience behaviours, particularly within YouTube’s evolving creator and culture space, identifying opportunities for new formats and growth.
Manage multiple productions simultaneously, balancing reactive cultural moments with planned long-form YouTube output.
Be flexible to work some evenings and weekends to support shoots, premieres, events and fast-moving cultural moments.
Act as a creative ambassador for Dazed across social and video platforms, championing brand values, visual identity and editorial standards.
What you’ll need
3+ years experience in a similar social video producer, video producer or digital content role, with demonstrable experience producing flagship YouTube content.
Clear hands-on experience shooting and editing both short-form and long-form video.
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Suite for video editing and post production when required.
Proven knowledge of platform-specific best practices across YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Instagram and TikTok.
A deep interest in youth culture and how fashion, music, art and internet culture translate into compelling video narratives.
Creatively and culturally fluent, confident in experimenting with new formats and storytelling approaches.
Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
A collaborative team player with the confidence to work independently and push ideas forward.
Strong communication skills, able to pitch concepts clearly and work cross-functionally.
Flexible and adaptable, with the willingness to work outside standard hours when required.
Proactive, curious and invested in the evolution of social and video culture.
