THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Client Services Director to support in the development of key client relationships, oversee project delivery, and drive operational excellence across the studio. This hybrid role sits at the heart of both client growth and internal workflow—perfect for someone who can think commercially, deliver creatively, and operate with precision.
As a senior member of the US team, you'll oversee our end-to-end delivery model, from pitch to execution, and personally manage 1–2 live projects at a time.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Leadership
Act as the key client point-of-contact across Dazed Studio projects, ensuring that projects are delivered to Dazed Studio’s standards and clients’ expectations are met.
Demonstrate foresight and problem-solving skills during client challenges and proactively escalating risks, roadblocks, and complex issues to management where necessary.
Ensure client communications, scoping, and delivery remain consistent and high-quality through day-to-day management of the accounts team.
Nurture and grow both new and current client relationships to drive retention and organic growth opportunities.
Pitches & New Business
Oversee the inbound pitch and RFP response process.
Partner with strategy and creative leads on proposal development and staffing plans.
In collaboration with stakeholders, ensure all pitch responses reflect Dazed Studio creative standards, resourcing reality, and commercial goals.
Lead US studio resourcing and forecasting in collaboration US function leads (business development, creative, strategy, and production).
Oversee project health and campaign delivery across the full studio portfolio.
Ensure excellence across all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on brief—without sacrificing creative integrity.
Build and refine internal processes for delivery, approvals, and cross-functional workflows.
Manage and mentor the account and project management team with a focus on developing structured, rigorous working practices including ownership of timelines, documentation, and internal communication.
Work with Operations & Special Projects Senior Manager to identify tools (e.g., Asana, Airtable, Float) that streamline operations and partner on initiatives that improve internal ways of working.
Support hiring, onboarding, and creating agency culture as a cross-functional leader.
In addition to leading the broader delivery function, this role will be expected to individually manage 1–2 live projects at any given time.
Required Skills & Experience
8-10 years of experience in operations, production operations, business management, or agency resourcing—ideally in creative, media, or culture-focused industries.
Strong business and project risk intuition—knowing instinctually when to redirect team members on live projects or signal for support to senior management
Demonstrated experience managing operational systems, vendor processes, and internal business logistics.
Strong project management and cross-team coordination skills, with a proactive and pragmatic mindset.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, process optimization, and documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—capable of working cross-functionally with creative, production, and executive stakeholders.
Comfortable managing business-critical documentation such as insurance, contracts, invoices, and trackers.
Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Airtable, Notion, Asana, Monday.com, and Slack.
Deep interest in media, fashion, culture, and Dazed Media’s values and mission.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary is $150,000
