About the Role
We’re looking for a culturally fluent Creative Strategist who lives and breathes youth culture and understands the nuances of engaging Spanish-speaking Gen Z audiences in the U.S. You’ll sit at the intersection of research, creativity, and cultural relevance — shaping pitch decks, building brand worlds, and crafting strategic narratives that resonate deeply with bicultural, bilingual, and Spanish-dominant communities.
You’ll play a critical role in expanding how we think, speak, and show up within the Hispanic cultural landscape — leading with insight, backed by instinct, and driven by Dazed’s disruptive DNA.
A deep interest in culture, whether that’s emerging youth trends, subcultures, tech, or the wider creative industries, is essential. You’ll be someone who reads between the lines and understands what’s next.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop culturally nuanced strategies rooted in insight, with a specific focus on Spanish-speaking Gen Z communities in the U.S.
- Lead creative ideation and pitch strategy across branded content, activations, editorial, experiential, and digital-first storytelling.
- Translate trends, behaviors, and cultural shifts into compelling brand narratives and actionable ideas.
- Collaborate closely with our creatives, art directors, and designers to ensure work feels distinctively Dazed and culturally in tune.
- Shape pitch decks, creative proposals, and strategic workshops that help brands authentically connect with Hispanic and youth audiences.
- Partner with our Insights & Research team (ICR) to surface opportunities and challenge client assumptions with fresh, culturally rich perspectives.
- Act as a thought leader and internal advocate for Hispanic cultural engagement across projects, proposals, and partnerships.
- Represent Dazed Studio in client meetings, internal brainstorms, and strategic sessions with energy, empathy, and clarity.
Who You Are:
- A bilingual (English/Spanish) strategist, researcher, or cultural thinker with deep roots in Latinx culture and Gen Z communities.
- Someone who connects the dots between data and storytelling — equally comfortable with cultural reports and big creative ideas.
- A confident storyteller with sharp instincts, cultural curiosity, and the ability to bring insight to life through punchy, persuasive decks.
- Passionate about representation, equity, and building platforms that reflect the real diversity of American youth culture.
- Experienced in working with brands to develop ideas that are both creatively bold and commercially sound.
- Bring a startup mentality—agile, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats as priorities shift and new opportunities emerge.
- A natural collaborator with excellent deck writing and storytelling skills—able to clearly articulate complex ideas in simple, impactful ways.
- Passionate about emerging culture, subcultures, and creative innovation across fashion, music, tech, and art.
- Comfortable presenting and pitching to clients, with a strong commercial awareness.
- Organised, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in a creative agency, media, or strategy-focused role
- Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written)
- Strong understanding of Hispanic and multicultural media, trends, and communities in the U.S.
- Proven experience developing brand or content strategies for culturally-driven campaigns
- Deep interest in fashion, music, digital culture, and the creative industries
- Confidence presenting to clients and collaborating across departments
